“Papillons” (Butterflies) is a modern detached house built on a cliff with
superb views over Loch Brachadale to MacLeods Tables, situated in the
unspoilt, quiet township of Dunanellerich (Fort of the Stranger), Harlosh,
5 miles south of the village of Dunvegan.

The famous Dunvegan Castle, ancestral home of the clan MacLeod for over
700 years, is open to the public all year round.
Enjoy the beautiful castle gardens, or take a boat trip to visit
the seal colony, there are also gift shops and a restaurant.

Skye is a paradise, rich in natural
beauty with something to offer everyone, peace and tranquillity and highland
hospitality from the friendly locals.

An ideal centre for walking, climbing, horse riding, fishing and cycling,
there are also 2 golf courses on Skye. If
you want a more relaxing holiday then just enjoy the wildlife – otters, seals,
dolphins, deer, buzzards, sea eagles, not to mention the beautiful wild flowers
and dramatic scenery wherever you go on the island. |

“Papillons” has an extensive grassy
lawn facing west over Loch Bracadale, where there are picnic benches and a
gas barbecue available for use at any time.

There is also easy access just over the garden to a stony beach.

The centrally heated house has three
bedrooms all with en-suite shower rooms, colour television, tea/coffee
making facilities, radio alarms and hairdryers. Highchair, cot and baby monitor on request. |

There are a few shops in Dunvegan
and Struan where groceries can easily be bought for barbecue evenings.
There are also excellent places to eat in and around Dunvegan to suit
every pocket. There is a taxi
based in Dunvegan which provides a very good service and is available 24
hours.
Churches of various denominations are also in Dunvegan. |

Although Dunanellerich is not in the
“centre of life”, Portree is only half an hour away.

scenery. Nowhere on Skye is more
